BEHIND THE LENS

I'm a freelance photographer based out of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada after recently relocating from Toronto.  I specialize in natural light portrait and family photography.  I have been taking pictures ever since I was a young girl and took black and white film photography and darkroom classes throughout school.  Although I began shooting with film and working with mainly black and white prints, I gradually changed over to digital photography.  While I now mainly work with digital images, I still enjoy film photography and continue to use my film 35mm and medium format cameras.

I have experience shooting portraits, newborns and children, engagement photos, small to medium-sized weddings, family events, maternity photos, still life (such as motorcycles, cars, houses, objects), band promo shots, live concerts as well as pet portraits. My goal is to bring out the subject's true personality and beauty in my photos, whether the subject is a rock musician, young child, highschool graduate or a goofy black Labrador Retriever puppy!
